ABSTRACT
The aim of the study was to characterize the raw wastewaters with fruit and vegetable industry (vegetable fruit juices and frozen food) in Podlaskie. Based on the survey, it was found that raw wastewater in the fruit and vegetable industry contain large amounts of organic compound expressed in BOD (900 mg O2 / dm3 to 2200 mg O2 / dm3) and COD (1320 mg O2 / dm3 to 2316 mg O2 / dm3) and low in nitrogen and phosphorus. The highest values of organic compounds are of the August and September and the lowest in March and May.
