ABSTRACT
In the Podhale basin there are several hydrogeological boreholes that cover geothermal water. One of them is the Chochołów PIG-1 well used for the needs of the Chochołowskie Termy recreation complex. In November 2017, hydrogeological tests were carried out in the well in order to establish the basic hydrogeological parameters related to exploitation of the intake, i.e. to determine its operational resources and permissible lowering of the groundwater table. Particular attention was paid to the conditions of the borehole tmperature effect. The results of the conducted measuring pumping allowed to get to know more deeply the conditions of occurrence of thermal waters captured by the borehole.
